Öblarn ski racer Klaus Kröll – called the “Bull of Öblarn” in skiing circles – has been underway in with a ski helmet on Planai on the fastest slopes in the world since the 2008/09 winter season. His successes in the first winter with the green-yellow headgear made an impact:

In the FIS Downhill World Cup, Kröll won 2nd place after Michael Walchhofer. The Planai-Hochwurzen-Bahnen congratulate him heartily on his great successes. At the same time, they also thank the Schachnerhaus company (Niederöblarn), which was the speed specialist’s main sponsor in recent years.
Klaus Kröll knows Planai and Hochwurzen like the back of his hand. Countless hours of training were completed here; Klaus also visited the ski trade school in Schladming.
