SKI OPENING with ROBBIE WILLIAMS

Fulminant start to the season at the Ski Opening on 7th and 8th December 2023 in the Planai Stadium.

What a show! The Schladming-Dachstein Ski Opening with world star Robbie Williams is history and it was two unforgettable concert evenings. Embedded in the idyllic snowy backdrop, the spectacular stage provided space for a line-up in a class of its own.

25,000 guests over two days

A sold-out stadium on Friday and more than ten thousand guests on Thursday: a total of 25,000 fans and ski enthusiasts rocked the Ski Opening Schladming-Dachstein 2023. When world star Robbie Williams is a guest in Schladming, the party is on, that's for sure!

Party night with the best atmosphere

From 6.00 pm, NIKOTIN in a stylish leopard-print coat and casual Falco style set the mood for a brilliant evening. Chris Steger followed with his favourite songs to sing along to and by the time JOSH. came on, the enthusiasm was perfect. Ö3 presenter Benny Hörtnagl led the audience through the programme and finally the time had come: Robbie Williams took to the stage and, as a first-class showman, got the audience going. Despite sub-zero temperatures, the stadium was boiling - it was a concert to sing along, dance along and celebrate through and through.

Robbie Williams, the entertainer

Robbie Williams presented himself as a charming and approachable star, interacted with the fans and was always up for a joke. "What is entertainment?" - Robbie Williams addressed the crowd directly with this question and pointed a finger at his chest: "The number one rule of entertaining is - you must love your audience. But instead of trying to explain what entertaining is - why don't I show you!" And with these words, an unrivalled show began. Captivating, motivating, personal and thoroughly entertaining.

Winter atmosphere and light show

The unique stage in Schladming's Planai Stadium contributed to the atmosphere: 50 metres wide and built with around 500 tonnes of material, the stage is an eye-catcher in its own right. 20 kilometres of cable were laid here, 300 spotlights were installed and over 150 square metres of LED surface provided a stage show of superlatives. Behind the stage, the snow-white piste sparkled into view - a backdrop you don't see every day.

Strong partners - Fulminant start to the season

The return of the Schladming-Dachstein Ski Opening after a three-year break is based on a collaboration between the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region, the Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Area with the Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm ski mountains and the Leutgeb Entertainment Group.
