A mountain go-kart is a three-wheeled, motorless recreational vehicle designed specifically for driving on paved mountain roads. The descent starts right at the top station of the Hochwurzen summit cable car at 1,852 metres above sea level and leads downhill for around 7 kilometres to the valley station. Numerous bends, an impressive mountain panorama and plenty of driving fun ensure a special experience in the mountains. How long is the mountain go-kart trail? The mountain go-kart trail on the Hochwurzen is around 7 kilometres long. Do I need a helmet? A helmet is essential - you can bring your own bike helmet or hire one on site (available directly at the start of the go-kart track). Helmet rental is included in the ticket. Can I take my backpack with me? You can simply take your backpacks and equipment with you - large items of luggage can also be transported separately down to the valley on the gondola lift. From what age are children allowed to ride? As soon as your child is able to stop themselves on the handlebars, they can ride with you. At what age are children allowed to drive alone? Children aged 10 and over and who are 1.45 m tall can race down the mountain themselves on a mountain go-kart. Smaller children can ride on an adult's lap. Do groups have to pre-book?
