Information for the summer season 2021

The safety of our guests and employees is our highest priority. In order to treat each other responsibly and ensure an untroubled experience, we ask you to comply with the following measures. We have taken all necessary steps so that you can experience an unforgettable visit with the greatest safety possible. Please respect our COVID-19 rules for safe coexistence.

Is it necessary to register in advance of the visit?

It is not necessary to register in advance.

Where must a FFP-2 face mask be worn?

FFP-2 face masks are mandatory 

  • in the gondola/cabin including stations
  • in buildings and toilets
  • in the bus

compulsory for everyone from the age of 14!  For children between the age of 6 and 14, the mouth-nose protection is enough. Children under the age of 6 are not required to wear a mask.

You have to bring your own FFP-2 face masks (you can also purchase on site at the cash desk for EUR 2.00 each).

Cyclists who have a full face helmet are also required to wear a FFP-2 face mask.

Are the gondolas ventilated and regularly disinfected?

The gondolas are ventilated as well as possible. Please ensure ventilation (open windows) during the trip. 
All equipment is regularly disinfected.

What options are there to buy my ticket?

Tickets can be purchased in advance in the online shop or on site at the cash desk or machines.

Season ticket holders and guests with the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card do not have to go to the cash desk, but can go straight through to the gondola entrance.

What do I need to know for Schladming Bike Park?

A face mask is not required while biking.

What do I need to know for Hopsiland?

No face mask is required. Disinfect your hands with the dispensers provided before using the devices.

Is there a children's programme in Hopsiland this summer?

The children's programme is offered from Thursday till Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. subject to the following safety measures: 

  • Disinfectant dispensers are available in Hopsiland. 

What do I need to know for the E-Trial Park?

  • Disinfect your hands on the dispensers provided before using the trial bikes.
  • If you borrow a helmet on site, a balaclava must be worn underneath for hygiene reasons. It can be purchased on site.

What do I need to know when stopping at the hut?

According to the COVID-19 regulations, the following measures must be observed:

  • A test, vaccination or antibody certificate (medical confirmation) must be presented.
  • You must register in the hut using the QR code.

What do I need to know for Mountain GoKart?

Disinfect your hands before using the toboggan or kart at the dispensers provided.

How will I be informed about the Corona safety regulations on site?

Information signs and loudspeaker announcements on site will keep you informed of the current COVID-19 safety regulations. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask our staff. 

Which measures apply to the cable car employees?

  • All employees who are in direct customer contact within areas where FFP-2 face masks are mandatory either wear a FFP-2 face mask or are physically separated from you by suitable protective measures (e.g. plexiglass).
  • The employees of the cable car companies are trained or instructed concerning uniform guidelines and regulations about the COVID-19 safety measures.
  • In the event of suspicion, tests are carried out immediately and employees are isolated right away from the company organisation.
  • We have an employee responsible for COVID-19 who plans and implements the measures.

Pay attention to the information signs on site and follow the measures.

Contact tracing app 

The contact tracing app "STOPP CORONA" from the Austrian Red Cross helps you fight the spread of the coronavirus. We recommend to use it. 

We adhere to all government guidelines and adapt our guidelines to any changes.
