Orienteering in the countryside

with a compass through Hopsiland

Orientation is important for everyone who likes to spend time in the mountains or in the great outdoors.

The workshop takes place on the Planai in Hopsiland and is divided into 2 difficulty levels.

1st Hopsi play course for families with children between 5 and 8 years:

5 checkpoints: Each family gets a compass and a piece of paper with 5 different coordinates to the checkpoints.
The distance between the control points is measured in jumping steps, hopping steps, etc. (approx. 40 cm per jump). 
Duration: approx. 20 min

2nd Hopsi race course for families with children between 7 and 14 years:

10 checkpoints: Each family gets a compass and a piece of paper with 10 different coordinates to the destinations.
The distance between the checkpoints is measured in children's steps (approx. 50 cm).
Duration approx. 30 - 40 min

 

3rd Hopsi's friendship track

This game route with 5 checkpoints is suitable for people with coordination problems when walking and who use a wheelchair.
Goal: Help Hopsi find the way and solve the code word.
A metric unit of measurement is used on this route. 

Duration approx. 20 min
