Local transport between Schladming - Rohrmoos - Untertal Dorf

Prices according the Styrian transport association

If you use public transport, you need a valid ticket for the transport network. To calculate the fare for your journey, Styria is subdivided into different transport zones – see fare zones map. The price applicable to your journey depends on the number of tariff zones you pass through and the ticket’s period of validity.

Use of the Schladming hiking bus, city bus and local transport lines is included in the Schladming-Dachstein Summercard!



Dogs and bike transport on the bus

Waldi, Bello & Co. are welcome to travel with the passenger, but must wear a muzzle (except assistance dogs) and be kept on a short lead.

We transport small dogs that can sit on the passenger's lap free of charge. We charge half the standard fare for larger dogs. Assistance dogs and guide dogs travel free of charge.

It is not possible to take bicycles on our scheduled buses nor hiking buses! 

Exception: The "Bike & Hiking Bus to the Reiteralm" offers a special bike trailer in the summer months. Bicycles can only be loaded at the stops marked in the timetable.

The use of the bus lines is free of charge for holders of the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard.
For cross-mountain hikes please register directly at the responsible bus driver.
Regarding groups of 10 people or more, registration at the Planai bus office at least 1 day in advance is required.

With the hiking bus to Untertal to "Wilde Wasser"

Bus line Riesachfall

With the hiking bus you can get from Schladming, free of charge with the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard, comfortably without a car and above all ecoconscious to the Riesachfall – Wilde Wasser in Untertal.  On the way through the valley there are several bus stations where you can hop on or off the bus, also to enjoy a bit of nature while going on foot. Once you arrive at the parking lot, there are other numerous hiking options for all skill levels. The definitive highlight is the hike through "die Höll" and the crossing of the spectacular suspension bridge to Riesachsee.

With the Planaibus to the nature idyll Steirischer Bodensee

Bus line Steirischer Bodensee

The hiking bus runs 3 times a day from Schladming to Steirischer Bodensee in Seewigtal. Departure is in Schladming at the bus stop Planet Planai via Haus im Ennstal to the parking lot Steirischer Bodensee. Once arrived, there are numerous hiking opportunities for the entire family as well as for hikers and ramblers. Even persevering hikers get to enjoy themselves. The classic route is the barrier-free path to Steirischer Bodensee with a walking time of about 20 minutes. But also cross-mountain hikes such as over the Höchstein or Moaralmsee to Hauser Kaibling and eventually the return by bus are recommendable.

With the hiking bus to the picturesque Obertal

Bus line Eschachalm

Even on the way to Duisitzkarsee in Obertal you can reach the Eschachalm, comfortably and environmentally friendly by hiking bus. The bus runs several times a day departing at the bus stop Planet Planai through Rohrmoos to the picturesque Obertal, with the final stop at Eschachalm. Therefrom there are two hiking trails: either to Duisitzkarsee or to the Keinprechthütte. Highly recommended for persevering hikers is the traverse to Ursprungalm. From there the you can take the bus back to Schladming.

 With the Planaibus into Preuneggtal to Ursprungalm

Bus line Ursprungalm

At Planet Planai, the hiking bus departs several times a day via Rohrmoos into the Preuneggtal to Ursprungalm.  There you can take a short walk and stop for refreshments in the huts. The Giglachsee is also near to the location and can be reached within 1 hour walking time. For all sports fans, the hike from Giglachsee to Duisitzkarsee is highly recommended. Therefrom you can also take the hiking bus from the Eschachalm back to Planet Planai.

Bike and hiking bus to the Reiteralm

A bus for hikers and mountain bikers runs several times a day between Planet Planai and Preunegg Jet. It takes you comfortably from Schladming, via Rohrmoos and the Preuneggtal to the 8-seater cable car on the Reiteralm and back. The bus is provided with a bike trailer, in order to give the opportunity to switch between the biking pleasure in the Bikepark Schladming and the Reiteralm bike trails without being depended on the car. The bus ride is included in the bike ticket as well as the Sommercard. For groups of 10 people or more, registration at the Planai bus office is required at least 1 day in advance!
