The Hopsi Winterkinderland on the Planai, in the Märchenwiese area , offers fun, games and your first turns in the snow. After the ascent with the Planai 10-seater main cable car , you can easily reach the Winterkinderland - either on skis or on foot via the pedestrian tunnel and then with the Hopsi-Express, the barrier-free inclined elevator. This makes the winter paradise the ideal excursion destination for young ski beginners and visitors without ski equipment.

Fun in the snow without skis

At Hopsi-Winterkinderland on the Planai, it's not just little ski stars who experience unforgettable winter moments - there's plenty for young and old to discover here, even without skis . Varied play stations, family-friendly trails and impressive views ensure play, exercise and winter fun in the middle of the mountains. These are the highlights of the winter playground:

Hopsi slide with Dachstein view

The Hopsi slide awaits right at the Planai mountain station - with a fantastic view of the Dachstein massif. Perfect for a souvenir photo with Hopsi and a speedy slide in the snow.

Kasalm - fun in any weather

At the valley station of the Hopsi-Express, the Kasalm provides entertainment regardless of the weather: with an indoor marble run, slide and the popular cheese wall for target shooting.

Original Dachstein gondola as a play station

A real piece of history: the Dachstein gondola from 1969 is now a unique play station in Hopsi Winterkinderland. Inside and outside, climbing elements and slides invite you to explore - with nostalgic charm.

Pistenbully climbing adventure

Want to be a Pistenbully driver yourself? Little adventurers can get inside the wooden Pistenbully via a climbing wall or cable winch - and experience that real snow groomer feeling.

Tipi adventure at the Märchenwiesenhütte

An action-packed playground with a slide and climbing fun awaits you in the large North American teepee tent. The extraordinary setting makes this experience something very special.

Winter hiking with Hopsi

Hopsi winter hiking trail & North Pole play station

If you prefer walking, the approx. 2 km long Hopsi winter hiking trail is just the thing for you. The snow-covered circular trail starts in the Little China area at the valley station of the Hopsi-Express and leads past the Märchenwiesenhütte to the spectacular North Pole play station - a full eight meters high, with a slide and integrated ball track. Fancy a break? At the Steirereck, you can fortify yourself, enjoy the view and recharge your batteries. Walking time: approx. 45 minutes.

First turns in the snowplow

In the Little China area, young skiers can playfully gain confidence on the slopes with their first turns. Two lovingly designed adventure slopes invite you to practice, discover and laugh - ideal for beginners!

China slalom & interactive wave track

The China slalom takes you through colorful gates - perfect for practicing cornering and improving your technique. Right next to it, the interactive wave track provides a special experience: Use your skis to make sounds on the xylophone as you pass through or make the Far Eastern gong ring with a clap. Learning fun and music in the snow!

Fahr Long - the friendly kite lift

Don't worry about tired legs: The "Fahr Long" conveyor belt takes you comfortably back to the start. The colorful dragon accompanies you gently uphill - without any effort, but with lots of fun.

Are you ready for an exciting ski race? The Croco Trophy takes you through the middle of snowy Australia - past crocodiles and other animal inhabitants of Down Under. If you are already confident on the drag lift, this course is just right for you.

Waldwegerl - experience nature on skis

From the summit of the Planai, the lovingly designed forest trail with carved local forest animals leads down into the valley. The leisurely descent is via the Möhrchenweg back to Hopsiland at the Märchenwiese. Ideal for little nature lovers and all those who like to take it easy.

Möhrchenweg

The Möhrchenweg takes you from the start of the Funslope and the Funcross back safely to the Hopsi world - past the Kasalm, China and Australia. So you can always find your way back.

Driving fun with action

This is where you get a real skiing experience: Steep turns, snow waves, tunnels, snow snails and many other surprises await you in the Funslope and Funcross. Perfect for all those who are already more experienced and fancy a bit of action in the snow.

Race track with ski movie

You can put your giant slalom skills to the test on the race course at the Weitmoos lifts. Simply scan your ski card at the start - and your race begins. After the run, you can watch your personal run online as a ski movie - just like a real ski pro!
