Family time on the mountain

In summer, the Planai becomes the highest adventure playground in Styria. The Hopsiland Planai at over 1,800 m above sea level delights with themed trails, play stations, water games and many climbing elements. The trails are pram-friendly and can be done by even the youngest hikers. For this year's 10th anniversary, even more fun and games await you on the Planai.

For families who love action , there is the Bike Area on the Planai - a practice area for everyone below the Planai mountain station, where even the little ones can get a taste for biking. Children can gain their first biking experience on three different routes. Advanced riders can then head back down into the valley via the Flowline in Bikepark Schladming.

Families also get their money's worth on the Hochwurzen - the Bankerlweg Hochwurzen invites you to experience nature and panoramic views with 26 original seating areas . Not only the little ones will be amazed here, but also grandma and grandpa. Particularly popular: a speedy ride on the mountain go-karts down into the valley.

The Hopsi-Winterkinderland on the Planai offers skiing fun and winter joy for young and old - ideally located in the Märchenwiese area. The lovingly designed area can be reached on skis, on foot or with the "Hopsi-Express" and is therefore perfect for young beginners and their families. Under the motto "Hopsi's journey around the world" , colorful themed worlds and playful elements await in the snow.

The Funslope & Funcross Planai provide sporty action and playful fun on the slopes - with waves, steep turns, small jumps and racing elements.

There is plenty for families to experience on the Hochwurzen and the Rohrmooser Plateau. The Funslope Hochwurzen is action-packed - 29 fun obstacles are waiting to be conquered. On the Rohrmooser Plateau, it's a leisurely ride on blue slopes past the Rohrmooser Hotels. With the conveyor belts and our two platter lifts, the youngest skiers will get their money's worth.

The highlight on the Hochwurzen - without a doubt: the Hochwurzen toboggan run. It's a 7-kilometer descent on two runners. Guaranteed fun for the whole family. And the best thing about it - the tobogganing fun is also available at night on selected days.
