A summer highlight of a special kind awaits you on the Hochwurzen: the mountain go-kart. What a toboggan is in winter is pure action in the warmer months.
With a track length of 7 kilometers and a difference in altitude of around 730 meters, it's a fast and safe ride down into the valley on three wheels - fun for young and old guaranteed.

The adventure begins with the ascent in the panorama gondola of the Hochwurzen summit lift. The ride itself offers impressive views of the Schladming mountains.
Once at the top, you will receive a short briefing from the trained team - then it's straight down to the valley.

The Mountain GoKart takes you downhill quickly and safely - on a specially developed vehicle that combines riding fun with technology. The wide wheelbase, low center of gravity and hydraulic disc brakes ensure a stable and controlled riding experience. The ergonomic seating position makes every descent comfortable - even for longer distances.

Ticket & Mountain-GoKart
How to get your ticket
The Ski Lenz sports store is located right next to the valley station of the Hochwurzen summit lift - here you can get your ticket for go-kart rental and the ascent. You will receive your helmet directly before the start at the mountain station - this is absolutely necessary and already included in the ticket price.
The modern 10-seater gondola lift - Gipfelbahn Hochwurzen - takes you up to 1,852 m in comfort . Once you reach the summit, your mountain go-kart will be waiting for you. After a short briefing from the trained Ski Lenz team, you can start your adventure straight away.

FAQs
Mountain-GoKart
As soon as your child is able to stop themselves on the handlebars, they can ride with you.
Children aged 10 and over and who are 1.45 m tall can race down the mountain themselves on a mountain go-kart. Smaller children can ride on an adult's lap.
Yes - a reservation is required for groups of 20 people or more.
A helmet is essential - you can bring your own bike helmet or hire one on site (available directly at the start of the go-kart track). Helmet rental is included in the ticket.
You can simply take your backpacks and equipment with you - large items of luggage can also be transported separately down to the valley on the gondola lift.
