Der Bikepark Schladming auf der Planai ist ein familienfreundlicher Einstiegspunkt für Kinder und Anfänger in der Steiermark. Mit Bike Area, Förderband, Kursangebot und rund 16 Kilometer langer Flowline bietet er ideale Bedingungen für den sicheren Einstieg ins Mountainbiken.
Kinder sammeln erste Erfahrungen auf einfachen Übungsstrecken, bevor sie auf die Flowline wechseln. Bikes, Schutzausrüstung, Coaching und Gondeltransport sind direkt vor Ort verfügbar.
Kinder und Jugendliche unter 16 Jahren dürfen den Bikepark Schladming nur in Begleitung einer Aufsichtsperson nutzen. Ab 16 Jahren ist die Nutzung des Bikeparks auch ohne Begleitung möglich.

The Flowline, a trail around 16 km long with gentle bends, wide lanes and a gentle gradient, is particularly popular - perfect for getting into gravity sports. The family-friendly terrain is well equipped and provides a safe introduction to the world of mountain biking.
Children and young people under the age of 16 may only use the Bikepark Schladming if accompanied by a supervisor. From the age of 16, the Bikepark may be used without supervision.

The Bike Area on the Planai offers ideal conditions for beginners, children and families. Three easy routes with gentle gradients and wide bends allow you to safely get to grips with the sport of biking. Those who master all the lines safely are ready for the Flowline - the next level in the Bikepark Schladming.
The bike area is located underneath the Planai mountain station and is easily accessible: From the mountain station, the Hopsi Express (inclined elevator) takes you directly to the start - and back again, of course. Rental bikes and protective equipment are available on site.
Mini-Pumptrack
NEW at Hopsiland
New at Hopsiland on Planai: the mini pump track offers even more variety for families and young cycling enthusiasts. Located right next to the Bike Area and the Bike Saloon, children can practise their balance, agility and riding technique here in a fun way. The right bikes are available to hire right next door at the Bike Saloon – perfect for those first rides on two wheels.

Flowline
the highlight for young & old
The Flowline in the Bikepark Schladming is ideal for anyone looking for smooth riding fun - from beginners to advanced riders. It is around 16 km long and runs from the Planai mountain station down to the valley. With an average gradient of 8%, the route runs on a smooth, wide surface - without any roots, stones or steps. Numerous bends and waves ensure a consistently safe and fun riding experience.
The Flowline is divided into two sections: The upper section between the top and middle station is known as the Peak Flowline, while the lower section down to the valley is called the Stadium Flowline.

1. Arrival and getting equipped
The family bike day starts at the Planai Stadium in Schladming. If you don’t have your own bike or suitable protective gear with you, you can hire these on the spot.
2. Take the Planai main cable car to the starting point
The 10-seater Planai main cable car takes you comfortably up to the mountain station.
3. First attempts at riding in the Bike Area
The Bike Area offers ideal conditions for beginners and children. Three easy routes and a conveyor belt allow you to practise basic riding techniques in a safe environment.
4. Discovering the first trails
Once the basics are mastered and riding technique becomes more confident, families can explore the first easy trails in the Bikepark Schladming. The Flowline is ideal for getting started with trail riding.
5. Wind down the day’s biking in style
After your first few runs, the huts on the Planai invite you to enjoy a cosy break. Those with energy to spare can do a few more laps in the Bike Area or on the easy trails.
Learn to Ride Area
in the Planai Stadium
The Learn to Ride Area is located in the Planai Stadium, directly on the VIP deck (parking lot opposite the TUI BLUE hotel). Cones and small obstacles are set up to practice balance, cornering technique and braking behavior in a safe environment.
The area is available free of charge and is particularly suitable for children and beginners. Use is only restricted during Bike School Pekoll coaching sessions. The Learn to Ride Area is the perfect complement to the Bike Area.
