Dismantling of the mountain station

The next stage of construction for the new 8-seater chairlift ‘Mitterhausalm I’ has been completed: over the past few days, the mountain station of the old 4-seater chairlift Sonneck has been completely dismantled.

All components – including the drive, suspension cable elements and support structures – were professionally dismantled, sorted and prepared for transport. The entire existing system was sold back to the original manufacturer, Doppelmayr, and will be given a new home in the future.

Step by Step

With the dismantling of the mountain station, the upper section of the route is now clear for the next steps in the construction process. The start of construction for the new, high-performance 8-seater chairlift is thus moving forward.

With the completion of this stage, the project is progressing according to plan – further updates will follow in the construction diary.
