Planai-Hochwurzen-Bahnen began to address the issue of sustainability intensively several years ago.

In addition to a large number of electric charging stations, extensive photovoltaic systems and intelligent snow management, initial tests of HVO fuels for snow groomers are also already being carried out.

With the renovation of the Dachstein Glacier Railway mountain station, including photovoltaic cladding and other projects within the company, work will continue in the future to optimise and increase the efficiency of energy consumption.
