Apprentice excursion Teufelberger Ropes & Zwölferhorn Cable Car

A varied day of excursions first took our team to the company Teufelberger in Wels. There, Julia Moser, assembly manager for cable car ropes, gave us fascinating insights into the work of this internationally active company. Particularly impressive was the tour of the steel rope production.

After the lunch break, we continued to the Zwölferhorn cable car in St. Gilgen on Lake Wolfgang. Operations manager Martin Draschwandter gave us a warm welcome and informed us about the procedures on site. The highlight: the ride up to the Zwölferhorn, including a tour of the photovoltaic system – a successful example of sustainable energy production in cable car operations.
