The Ramsau sunny plateau offers ideal scenic conditions for hiking at the foot of the Dachstein. The hiking trail leads pleasantly shaded along the forest. Again and again, magnificent views of chalky rock walls of the Dachstein open up. The Philosoferweg is part of the Kulmberg Rundweg and the Panoramaweg. It also offers a good connection to the Sattelberg Rundweg, Leiten Rundweg and the Hofrat-Gruber-Weg.

The Philosoferweg begins at the Waldschenke restaurant and leads below the ski jump in an easterly direction. Continue next to the stream at the foot of the Kulmberg. After a short time you will reach the Sport Steiner directly on the main road.
From the west:
Tauernautobahn A 10 to the Ennstal junction - exit in the direction of Graz/Schladming - about 20 km on the Ennstal-Bundesstraße to Schladming - turn off Ramsau.
From the north:
Pyhrn freeway in the direction of Liezen Ennstal federal road as far as Schladming - Ramsau turn-off.
