Worldcup Downhill
Tour description
Starting at the Planai mid-station, the most legendary trail in Bikepark Schladming begins – the World Cup Downhill.
The track has long stood for the highest level of challenge: root sections, high-speed passages, and technically demanding turns require full control and precise riding skills. This black trail is clearly aimed at experienced riders – it’s all about true downhill performance.
Riding this line means following in the tracks of the world’s elite: until 2009, it was a permanent fixture on the UCI Downhill World Cup circuit and was awarded the title #BESTTRACKEVER.
Highlights include the step-up jump below the Planai gondola after crossing the main road, as well as the demanding root section in the lower part of the trail.
