Energy monitoring for greater efficiency
Lower consumption, greater efficiency through precise analysis
Transparency is the key to responsible energy use – that's why we rely on comprehensive energy monitoring.
With 210 metering points, we can accurately record when, where and how much electricity is consumed.
This detailed analysis enables us to control energy use in a targeted manner, optimise processes and make continuous improvements.
We consistently rely on electricity from 100% renewable sources, a clear decision in favour of environmental awareness and future responsibility.
In order to further optimise our energy consumption, we invest specifically in innovative technologies:
- Direct drives for cable cars and lifts: These operate without gears, which reduces energy loss and enables quieter, more efficient operation. At the same time, maintenance costs are reduced – an advantage that also pays off economically in the long term.
- Heat recovery: The waste heat from cable car drives is used to heat buildings or water – an intelligent way to use energy twice and conserve resources.
- LED conversion: By switching to modern LED technology, we have been able to replace around 2,000 lamps and reduce the energy consumption of this lighting by around 35%. 108 LED lights are also used for the mobile floodlight system in the upper section of the night giant slalom on the Planai.
