Map, elevation profile & further information
The Downtown Line is the easier alternative to the World Cup Downhill. It takes you on a leisurely ride down into the valley via a variety of banked turns.
Take the Schladming-Ost exit off the B320 Ennstal Federal Highway. At the roundabout (Spar/Salewa Mountain-Sho), take the 3rd exit toward the city center; at the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit again to the Planai Cable Car valley station at the Planai Stadium. From there, take the Planai Cable Car gondola up to the Planai.
There is plenty of parking available at the Planai valley station.
The Schladming Bike Park is located along the international Salzburg-Graz railway line. The Planai Stadium is a 5-minute bike ride or about a 20-minute walk from the Schladming train station.
